The rooms need renovation to meet Shangri-La standards; although non-smoking, some rooms have a noticeable cigarette smell upon entry. The service is exceptional, with staff going out of their way to assist and ensure a pleasant stay. The dining options are varied but lack some popular items like smoked salmon and croissants.
